1. Who you're working with
Ayas Studio is run by its founder ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you order a content pack from us ("you", "the client"). By paying an invoice you accept them. Contact: aya@ayasstudio.org.
2. What's in a pack
From one podcast episode you send us, we write:
- show notes;
- chapters with timestamps;
- quotes from the episode, word for word;
- posts for LinkedIn and X;
- title options for the episode;
- a newsletter email about the episode;
- 3 quote cards (images);
- one round of edits (see section 4).
The exact number of posts, quotes and titles is the one stated in our offer or invoice. Anything outside the pack, such as extra episodes, other formats, or posting and scheduling for you, is agreed separately by email.
3. Delivery
We deliver the pack within 48 hours after both of these have happened: your payment has reached us, and we have received the episode in a usable form (audio, video or a link we can open). The clock starts from whichever comes later.
If the episode file is broken, private or missing parts, we'll tell you, and the 48 hours start once we have a working file. If something on our side delays delivery, we'll tell you by email as soon as we know and give you a new time.
4. Edits
The pack includes one round of edits. Send all your changes in one message. We return the edited pack within 24 hours of receiving that message.
An edit means changing what we wrote: wording, tone, emphasis, which quotes are used, corrections of names and facts. Starting over on a different brief, or working from a different episode, is a new order.
Please send your edits within 14 days of delivery. After that we treat the pack as accepted.
5. Price and payment
The price is quoted per request, before any work starts. We send an invoice by email, and payment is due before delivery. Prices are in US dollars. Any bank or payment fees on your side are yours.
6. Refunds
If we can't deliver the pack, you get a full refund. If the pack isn't what you expected, tell us what to change and we'll revise it within 24 hours.
7. Your responsibilities
- You own the episode, or you have permission to use it and to have it turned into written content, including for any guests and co-hosts who appear in it.
- The episode doesn't break anyone else's rights or the law, as far as you know.
- You check the pack before you publish it. Everything goes out under your name, so the final say, and the responsibility for what you publish, is yours.
- You tell us in advance about anything we must not mention, such as an off-the-record remark, a release date or a sponsor detail.
If quote cards should show people’s photos, you send the photos or point us to ones you have the right to use, and you confirm that the people shown agree.
8. How we use your episode
We use your episode only to make your pack. We don't share it, publish it or reuse it for anyone else, and we don't use it in our own marketing without your written permission.
We may use software tools to help prepare the pack: transcripts are made on our own computer, and Anthropic’s Claude helps us draft the texts. Every pack is reviewed and edited by a person before delivery.
The sample pack shown on our site is built from a publicly released episode. If our sample uses your episode and you'd like it taken down, email us and we'll remove it.
9. Unreleased episodes
Many clients send episodes before they're out. We treat every episode, transcript and draft you send as confidential until you publish it yourself. We keep it to ourselves, apart from the tools named in our Privacy Policy that we use to prepare the pack, don't talk about it, and delete it as described in our Privacy Policy. This duty doesn't cover information that is already public or that the law requires us to disclose.
10. Who owns the texts
Once the invoice is paid in full, the texts and quote cards we deliver are yours, to the extent we hold any rights in them. You can publish, edit, translate and reuse them however you like, without crediting us. Until payment, they stay ours.
Your episode, your show name and your guests' words remain yours and theirs; we only use them to make the pack. We keep our general know-how, templates and working methods, and may use them for other clients, but never your content.
11. Limits of our liability
We take care with names, quotes and facts, and we check quotes against the episode. Still, you should review the pack before publishing.
As far as the law allows: our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost audience or reputational harm. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
The pack is meant to help your episode reach more people, but we don't promise any particular number of downloads, followers or sales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you pay an invoice is the one that applies to that order.
13. Disputes
If something goes wrong, please email us first. Most things can be fixed in a reply.
